Ashley Peldon (born April 2, 1984) is a Daytime Emmy-nominated American television and film actress.
An avid academic and working actress for the past 20 years, Ashley was honored with an Emmy Award nomination at the tender age of 6 years old, for her three years as Marah on the popular soap opera "Guiding Light". Ashley went on to star in major motion pictures such as "The Lemon Sisters" opposite Diane Keaton, "Stella" opposite Bette Midler, "Deceived" opposite Goldie Hawn, and the cult favorite, “Drop Dead Fred” opposite Phoebe Cates. More currently, she also starred in Arthur Miller’s "The Crucible" opposite Winona Rider and Daniel Day-Lewis and in "Ghost World" with Scarlett Johansson, among many other films. Her film career continues to flourish as she recently completed the horror film "Dimples", Sony Pictures’ sci-fi drama "Night Skies", and the coming of age comedy "Float. This native New Yorker also has numerous commercials, voiceovers, series, and TV films under her belt. For two years Ashley starred on the NBC television series "The Mommies" and has had key recurring roles on such hit television series as "That 70s Show" and "The Pretender." Ashley is currently starring as “spoiled actress Amy King” in MTV's new comedy series "Connected," which can be viewed online at http://tmobileconnected.com/. She is also set to lead in the horror/comedy film "2001 Maniacs – Beverly Hellbilles" also starring her sister and Robert Englund. Ashley learned the art of directing from the many acclaimed directors she’s worked with which include Nicholas Hytner, Glenn Jordan, Terry Zwigoff, and Gordon Hunt among others. Ashley holds a bachelor's degree in Child Psychology and Film from Skidmore College in New York. Her interest in child psychology originated from her dramatic role as the sexually abused youngster in CBS TV’s “Child of Rage” when she was just 7 years old. Ashley owns a perfume company called "Starring…! Fragrances" sold at a number of fine stores and spas across the country including select Whole Foods Markets as well as the Whole Foods - Life Style store in Los Angeles.
